Is there going to be a caravan meet up on Friday 6/26 from the Bay Area heading up to the Sierras together? I see that there are a few fellas from around SJ, Peninsula, East Bay (Fremont here :wave. I've already gotten Friday off of work so anytime works for me. Who's down to meet up somewhere, and what time, to caravan up?

Johnny - I would love to Caravan but we aren't sure what time we are leaving. Might be early on Friday might be in the late evening.

HA - I guess I should have stated that before. The Dinner will be on SATURDAY NIGHT.

wow that sounds like fun.... i have been on that trail 2 times with my brother harlee. umm sitting shotgun though. lol. well i will probebly meet you all out there, but dont wait for me. i still have to put a currie tie rod assembely, and a cat on before it can go. umm ill bring some extra parts that i have available, and some extra water, beer, trashbags, and maybe firewood. alright guys hope to see you out there and if im not there in time i will deffinately catch up with you. still 0930 at trailhead? ok thanks

Alrighty then - We have a couple of weeks to go (CAN'T WAIT!!!) and I am looking forward to seeing some familiar faces and meeting some new folks.

Forgive me if I am being OCD but I would like to get a final confirmation on attendance and food by Father's Day June 21st. I want to make sure to have Ribs enough for everyone.

New developement, no on the ribs, yes on getting up there asap Sat am. Can't promise a time so I'll hook up with you guys on the trail somewhere. Bringing my bud in his TJ.

Looks like I am out. Work needs to be done on the XJ and having to work 150 miles from home during the week has proved to make this task tough. The odds of me getting the Friday off are slim and its a long haul for me to get over there. I will still try and make it.

im gonna try to make it but i wont know until last minute so dont count on me, and i might be going up sunday and coming back monday or tues, but maybe ill see you guys on the way out.
as far as 3" lift and 31's im a little confused.
ive taken a stock pathfinder on slickrock, and been in a stock cherokee with sagging leafs on 215's(street tires) and still made it open/open(but with gas and tcase skids until the steps after the big ol "slickrock" in the stock jeep) with no prob. the dude with the 30's and 2-3" shouldnt have much of a prob i would say. but then again everyone is different.
plus some 31" a/ts are shorter than 30" m/ts....

Looks like I'll definitely be there. I'll be leaving San Jose / Cupertino around noon on Friday - will be driving up with my old man and his YJ. Anyone give me a PM if you want to join the caravan.
