side by sides/UTV's

looks like we are going friday to pick one up...I cant believe I am spending this much on something like this...but hey, they are fun :D

I shopped all over Iowa and Missouri and I'll be damned that I looked over the closest dealer to me and they had the lowest price by $400. That is a big difference since most dealers wont budge a red cent on these things.

You ever think that people may ignore the things you post because most the time they are completely useless?? :flipoff:

That wasn't a useless post though and like Rev said...... I was at WF! :laugh3:

Man I go back and forth on these things...I cant get out of my mind the true cost of the machines and for no more then you are really getting as far as material /machine. I keep telling myself I could trade in my JD tractor and put that additional $10K with it and get a newer tractor that helps me make a living...or take that $10K and pay off some other debts...I cant make up my mind. I told Camille this morning to think about it long and hard and what ever decision she makes is what we will go with since it is really for her to use more then me......I find myself being more wishy-washy teh older I get..I am thinking things through way too much now a days!

I hear ya! I am the same way on buying a truck. It's not necessarily what its going to, but being tied to that payment book sucks!!!!

You and me both cheeseman! I have a hard time spending money on some things but others (jeeps and guns) I have no problem spending money on. If you can upgrade your tractor I would lean toward that. The UTV would be useful but the tractor is your bread and butter. A cheap chore truck does the same thing without all the fancy gadgets on those things now.

sold the International this weekend and I just ordered a 2012 Polaris Ranger Special Edition...and had a few "added goodies" installed too! Gonna pick it up Wednesday or Thursday

This will add to the fun for FestFest coming up in June....say tuned.....

oh, there will be pics when I pick it up! They called this afternoon and dont have the windshield in stock that I want, but they do have the top and will install it before I get there. I have a Warn ATV winch w/ synth rope on the Yamaha 4x4 ATV that we have, so I may rob that and instal it on the Ranger and get a cheaper winch for the Yamaha. I am excited about getting this thing....especially since I can use it year round vs. the International that was not going to see a whole lot of use.

How tall will the corn be by then? :eyes:

picked it up yesterday....man i cant believe i went this long w/o one....fun and functional. posted up a pic on fb last night, will here later.

It has been a while and since we are not friends on facebook, lets see a picture.

When I saw this bumped, my first thought was "Still waiting on that Heffer w/cheese, Juliooo...."

That is what I am going to get to bomb around our new place.
My buddy has one with rear facing seats, he LOVES to take people for a ride, drunk, in the dark, facing backwards, around his place. I have yet to see someone come back, they all fall off, he keeps driving laughing his ass off!
Not so much fun when it happens to you, funny as hell when it happens to someone else!

I still need to get a pic up on here I suppose...mine by no means looks new any longer and it needs washed BAD! It is mud covered and full of fencing supplies (and empty beer cans :D) We have used it everyday since we bought it, I dont have any regrets spending that much now....when I was buying it I went back and forth a few times, but i am glad we have it now.
