haha cool, can't miss it - the airhorn is not a common feature around these parts. It'll even work in a week or so when I finally get my OBA set up! I spend most of my weekdays out toward Hudson (I work for Intel out there) so anyone who commutes i290 between Worcester and Hudson has probably seen me once or twice. What do you drive? not sure I saw your pics in this thread.
Nope, unfortunately. I'll be attending either the Deepwoods weekend (my "local" club) or going to Lobsterfest. I think i'm gonna flip a coin between the two heh. I'm planning for nacfest 2010 though just gotta keep the jeep together long enough to get it down to RC! I almost flopped it last weekend though, about 4 minutes into the first good portion of the trail :gee: I think I was just a little bit rusty, that's all
haha, my jeep doesn't so much mark its territory as fence it off and carpet bomb it. I'm usually a quart or two low by the next oil change. And I don't burn any oil, as far as I can tell.
So I gave my Mosey a little self diagnosis. The mystery rattle is my muffler. You shake it enough, you hear it. (Need a new one I presume). The exhaust leak is from a large crack that I seen. I want to say its the down pipe? It what connects to the rest of the exhaust right underneath. It looks like 2 pipes that connect to one then to the rest of the exhaust.
One of the mystery "clicks" or whatever was from the Tcase shifter linkage. Underneath there is a part that has play that taps when you move it.
The front D shaft has play. The rear is solid. Everything else feels solid as well.
Awesome. I went through some water today. (hood almost went under). And my alternatoris dead now. I had to get it towed home from freehold (about an hour later it died). Check gauge light was on, my voltage gauge was dead. My battery was dying because the stereo flickered off as I was driving. So I need to get a new alternator.

is yours an auto or a stick? i've noticed sometimes when i go though deep water and muck my gen light comes on meaning my alternator isnt charging my battery so if i get it cruising up around 25- 30 turn off the jeep and pop start it cleans all the gunk and grime out of there and keeps it charging, i used to have to do this every morning in the winter ha ha when the frozen water would seize it
