Snow doesn't bother me, I have a 7-layer cold weather system.

ER would be ok, although I'd want to take the Passat as thats such a far drive for me. I just don't see the Passat making it up ER.

Well its not on ER. Its just 2/3 the way up on Old Stage. Unless it is fresh snow, fwd is perfectly fine. If that's what we decide to do i should potentially have room for one more in the truck but that's it.

Are you people interested in doin it up thinking springs is best place? I want opinion of you northerners. I can shoot with springs guys whenever. So what's the thought?

Where's troy and Jeff??? Figured those two would be all over this....

I'd rather stay up north obvously but other than Left Hand I really don't know where to shoot. I've never had any issues shooting there, but then again its been a few years.

They do call for starting on the Ft. Carson range in the spring, so we're sol for now. No gun registration, though.

I think Jim drops the "M" just to make people queasy... and you should read the books, they're much better than the movies. I just finished reading them with the kids, and now they're reading them themselves -- I think you'll be able to handle it.

Yeah, I'm still interested. I just burned another 200 rnds through the SKS today, its a blast to shoot. I like it a lot better than the M16's I'm used to.
