Looks like the price has gone up on them. I just called the place where I got the last one for under $10 and they are now $48.70. I sold the last XJ that I bought one for or I would have given you mine.

+ $25 shipping, + $$ conversion etc...

My main beef is the principle of it. Why, if they gave it away at one point, and then charged less than $10, is it necessary to charge $65 for it now for something that is related to the safety of a child.

I guess I was just hoping that someone who had previously posted to this thread might know of a less expensive source. Why spend that much if you don't have to? If you have kids you already how expensive they are. Saving money without compromising safety only makes sense.

This should still be covered under the Chrysler/Jeep Technical Service Bulletin 23-08-00 Rev. A. This was renewed in November 2000 (I think...) and it should still be available free of charge and with free installation. The TSB number also changed a little.
