I suppose it's worth mentioning that I had the rear bars sent to me from S&W straight instead of bent. They come designed to go over the backseat in a XJ and then straight down. I had them sent straight and then I bent them just a tad at the top so I could run them through the cab and weld them to the b hoop. Other than that it is their standard XJ kit.

The only real troubles I had was trying to fit the 50" wide bench seat back in between the 48" rollcage. It took about 4 hours to figure out. I completely disassembled the seat and re-installed it in a different order to actually get it to fit.

looks good..ive been waiting to see one of these installed thanks

I didn't really like where the "A" pillars were meeting the halo. That's why I added the gusset or "Y" on the "A" pillar. That's my only complaint about the cage kit. It was actually pretty easy to install though. Start to finish with no help took about 8 or 10 hours.

i like that y bar...does that side bar get in the way of getting in and out

I just installed one of these cages in my 2 Dr Cherokee a few weeks ago. I really like How you did that Gusset on the A pillar. I Believe I will copy that if you dont mind

This was the first cage I have ever installed, and the first of any sort of tube notching I have done. But with a little time, and a crummy Harbor Freight notcher I was able to get it done with satisfactory results. Mine is however installed in a gutted interior in a Trail Only rig.

Overall looks good man.
