Rubicon Trail Aug 4th - 6th

I'll be parking the tow rig at one of the casinos in South Lake Tahoe and heading out to the trail head Monday morning. If anyone passing thru SLT want to meet up on the way, let me know.

I'm planning on camping at Loon. I'm going to head up Sunday morning if anyone in the Bay Area wants to caravan.

Phil, my buddy, and myself will be leaving from west sac, and plan on camping at Loon on Sunday night.

9:00am Monday morning meet at Loon Lake staging area

The schedule will be pretty much same as last year:
-stay Monday night at Buck Island Lake
-decide if we want to stay there Tuesday night, or move camp to Rubicon Springs. There are benefits to both options.
-drive to Tahoe on Wednesday
-stay at Super 8 in South Lake Tahoe Wednesday night (coin laundry and pizza joint are within walking distance)
-Thursday get supplies and drive to Hermit Valley Campground
