Hrm. They look a lot like the RE ones with a bit less beef to them.

Know when they hit the market? Price?

Yea check your tires, i have the RC 6.5 and it doesnt ride that bad at all. Tracking is a problem but i associate most of my problems with be disconected full time.

Installed my RC 3" lift on Thursday, so far I am very happy with it. It rides stiffer than my tired-out stock suspension, but not as badly as some here have stated. I actually like the new firmer ride, less nosedive when stopping and body roll around corners. I bought the Nitro 9000 shocks if that makes any difference.

Installed the 4.5" X Series lift over the weekend. Id have to say it was relatively easy to install. It rides like a brick and im afriad if I hit the right bump on these shitty michigan roads im gonna do a front flip. Either way 4 of 5 stars. RC was very helpful with all of my questions. They sent me the wrong u bolts and after I told them I had the correct ones in 2 days. Thanks Guys

Just get adjustable arms, length should be the only difference. I doubt they would go to the trouble, or cost, to make them different.

why does RC sell a 6.5 lift without long arms or at least lower control arm drop brackets??? isnt 6.5" lift too high for short arms???

Because you dont have to have long arms or drop brkts to run this kit, Drop brkts do make alot of diffrence but it is still fully functional with out them

what makes the RC kit any different than any other short arm kit with adjustable upper and lowers? so what your saying is that the lower control arm angle is OK at 6.5" with short arms?

I never said it is diffrent than any other kit what I said was it works and is fully functional. I personal ran the kit on my 99 with no problems for a year before I put the drop brkts on, then the only reason I put them on is I had the only xj for my R&D to use to build them.

I have the 6.5 and I will agree that it performs well...but if I get tinkeritis again I will most likely add the drop brackets...it has much better front flex than it did with the previous non-adjustable arms..

Jason, will the drop brackets work on a MJ?
