You can drill a hole through your roof but uses a grommet to seal the hole from the weather........if you do not know what I am talking about just go to a parts store and they can point you the right direction. You can also avoid that and run the lines in wire loom to the back liftgate and sneak them in there and then run them under you plastic interior to the connections. You are just going to use a lot more wire in that scenario. Although you only need the hot wires you can ground the lights on the rack.

Or you can teach the lights to receive power by osmosis through the roof

That help? :D

Ya a little, im eather going 2 run it down the A pillar or B pillar where you aleady have the black rubber things. Or ill run it down through the hatch then under the floor

If you run it down B pillar and through the small opening just remember it is a nightmare behind that with all the seatbelt stuff and other wiring. Also unless you drill though the pinch seam/gutter on top, running over it will become a target for getting ripped off by anything that would rub against that seam/lip. Using A pillar would be the best bet but keep in mind it will be pretty visible.

Be brave and drill a hole and use a grommet:greensmok

x2 on through the roof. i didnt want to on mine and now i wouldnt want to do it anyother way. i check my rtv every few months so i wont be sitting in a puddle everytime it rains

I ran a few wires and my CB wire through the roof through a piece of grey plastic conduit. At lowes I found a small 90* elbow that had a threaded nut and o-ring on one side. Drilled a hole big enough for the threaded side. Fed the wires through and packed it with silicone. It's made to be outside so it won't get messed up by the sun and it matched the color of my cherokee.

Alright if i drill through the roof where do i run the wire from there? Do i run it between the roof and the i dont what its called, but the carpet on the roof? or do i cut a hole in that to?

That would be the headliner. You could go right through it if you wanted, but it will look much nicer if you pull it (much easier with two people) and run the wires behind it. You'll have easy access to the a-pillar too.

Ok do we need to pull the headliner out then run the wire where we want then put it back in? Or do we just feed it through to the A or B pillar then run it down past the door jam or what

Drill baby drill.

When you run the wires run an extra string with them so you can add more later..... If you pull the headliner run string to each corner as well. makes upgrading easier later......

This is how I did mine, its not as heavy a guage as it probably should be, but its alot more convenient if you like to take your rack on and off like I do.
