Replace Knuckle or Axle

I just picked up a 98 XJ Sport with a bent knuckle on the passenger side. Would it be easier to replace the knuckle or the whole axle?

I'd say just get an axle they are cheap enough and it would save you a lot of labor that way as well.

Ok, how hard is it to change the front axle? For somebody who's never done it, what time frame am I looking at?

About 3-4 hours for someone who has never done one. My first took me 3 hours with impact tools and working by myself with one jack and the XJ up on jack stands.
