Gawd, sometimes I really need to slow down........
I bought Tom's (MileHiXJ) AW4 and 242 combo...... the guy he got them from said they were harvested from a '00 XJ.
Yeah, after I got 'em home and went to separate the trans from the t-case, I notice the lack of a second speed sensor, then noticed that the t-case had a full tail cone..... then counted the splines...... 21. :doh:
So...... these won't do me much good. Hopefully someone else can make use of 'em.
The fluid from the trans and t-case is a beautiful cherry red and smells unburned. Looks to be in good working order.
$80 for the trans, $80 for the t-case.
