I will be on muds, I gotta get bumpstopped accordingly though. If I can't get that done, then i will most likely swap back to my 33's before the I make the trip to the event.

Muds are great at Hot Springs even though I get around OK on 31" ATs running open diffs ... but then again I don't expect to go where ExTankerGuy takes his rig :D

I ran all over that park on 31s with a front locker, did most of the 4s, even running by myself (plus a winch bitch). Enough tire to have a good time.

31AT's have gotten me through quite a bit out at moab, but in our part of the country i've had the AT's turn into mudslicks in just the slightest wet conditions...

i'm locked on both so that will help and i figure the 3+ trails will suit me & the jeep... I'll prolly go with the 33 muds...

I think we can add 1 more..... Talked a buddy of mine into buying an 89 4 door today. Already has a 2 inch budget boost and 31's on it. Picked it up for $700.00. I think I have him talked into joining us.

You still plan to come up anyway? There's always an empty seat and we can always use an experienced spotter.

I don't like spotting, nor do I like being spotted(at least not until a few tries), takes away from the fun. However, I may see if I can still make it up.

Alright, folks. This event just got cooler.

Thanks to the hard work of our VP, we now have a sponsor for "The Rides of March" who has given us some great stuff for a giveaway!

Atomic 4x4 has stepped up and provided us with an Optima Yellow Top, while our erstwhile VP kicked in an air compressor, and a tow strap to give away on Saturday, March 15 via a raffle. We'll be selling tickets at the campsite on Friday and in the front office all day saturday for $2 each. The drawing will be held Saturday night at 6 PM at the front office. So, everyone be there for some great prizes! As an aside, you MUST be present to win.

In addition, the official Rides of March Shirts are now available from the CafePress store, so grab em while they're hot! BTW, if you have a specific request for an item with this logo let me know and I'll see what I can do.

The plan was to open the raffle to anyone in the park that weekend. It'll help bring in some more money, or at least that was the plan.

We'll see if any of the other sponsors want to donate anything to the cause. As this is not our official "National" run, we were pushing them too hard, yet. That'll come next year when we teach those MWC and IMC guys what a real National Event looks like. :)

OK my wife and I are making plans right now. But nothing is set in the proverbaly stone just yet. We need to get away for a lil bit anyways and March 15th is my B-day.

If we do go I will be running 32s on 4.5" lift open front and rear. I am looking into getting a locker for the D30 right now too.
And we will be staying in a hotel. We can't camp with my lil girl just yet.

knights inn is right around the corner from the park and fairly priced. Not the best facilities though.
