reason for selling...

I wish there were more out there but then again, wouldn't that take away from the uniqueness?
Yeah it would! There's a guy I work with that said he had never even seen one before! I doubt that, but at a quick head on glance, I'm sure they have been mistaken for an XJ more than once.

Ok, got a break in the day to take advantage of some of this beautiful weather. Aside from bolting down the shifter plate, tieing up the trans cooler lines, pulling out the dangling clutch pedal(DANGLY PARTS, just fun to say) and topping off the fluids, the trans swap is 100% done. I am stoked because there isn't alot of documentation on this and it all works. I'll try to get it buttoned up tomorrow and then it's on to pulling the rear back out, redoing the spring perches, shock mounts and welding the tubes and I'll be ready to wheel. I spoke with the wife and she gave the go ahead on the LBL trip and after looking at the calender, mother is having surgery the Wed before so I guess I'm out on that one but who is up for a possible windrock trip that weekend? I know LBL's quite a haul for the east tenn boys so how about something a little closer?

picking up a set of tons for it this weekend.

Full Width....Does it ever end???????

When does the dove-tail process begin?... :D

This is going to be unrecognizable by the spring... :D

portals are cooler :wierd:

Last night I got the new t-case built, Crown SYE and 231c chain and sprockets. Tonight I got the sterling 10.5" torn down, welded the carrier and tubes and got the new bearing races in the housing. Tomorrow I'll pick up the gears and get the rear all wrapped up and get to the front sometime after work next week.

Almost all the parts are in, tires will be picked up tomorrow. Gonna be wild.

Are your axles the 8 lug on 170mm or did you convert them to the 8 lug on 6.5" bolt circle?

What size tires and type of tires did you decide on?

Rims are still the 8x170mm. As for what size and style, you will have to wait and see.

...just a reminder, this was matt's last MJ...

Might as well add that all the parts are here, just need to find the time to get it together. Axles are '03 f-350 tons, D60 front and 10.5" sterling rear. 35 splines f/r rear disk brakes, Miller locked f/r, 5.38's capped off with Solid covers. Also planning to pick up PSC pump, lines and res this weekend. Not sure wether this will get full hydro or just assist. I still want to keep it streetable.

Staying full width, might need a new trailor...

Staying full width, might need a new trailor...
...you have a welder, why would you need a new trailer? just add on to it!

i like the orderliness of the tires/wheels on the trailer, almost like advertisement :)

...like i said before, this one's gonna be big...

oh, go with assist and not full hydro, so i can copy you! (and learn too)

Boggers are sold. Come to find out they won't fit over the front superduty brakes. New tires ordered, starting to think out of the box
