i started this because i wanted a tube bumper that looked good , offered a tire swing , and was just as strong and any plate or rectangle tube bumper.
i started by cutting the open the unibody tubes

then we fab' up some mounts that slide inside the unibody acting like a nut strip using 5 factory holes used for attaching gas tank skids, hitchs and on the passenger side the 2 holes for attaching the exhaust

then the bumpers back bone

the tubes inside the unibody stick out so that the back bone slides over them and bolts through them with 2 bolts per side and uses the 4 factory locations on each side
then we added the tube

the swings hinge kit is from jeep tubes
the latch is a knu-vice 2001 that we cut the mount ears off of and welded on and also added a tab for a safety so it dont come undone
and the stop is a pipe cap
its all made out of 1-3/4x .120 ERW tubing
unibody tubes are 4x2x3/16
back bone mounts are 5x2-1/2x3/16 with 1/4x6 flat bar cut and drilled for mounts
back bone cross member is 3x2x3/16
the hitch came from a farm supply store
D-ring tabs are 3/4x2 and welded back inside the 5x2-1/2
the stop is a simple weld on pipe cap

slow getting back to this but finished pics with it installed
he sent the pics awhile ago but i just got to them im now in the process of building one for another customer
hope more people buy them :)
