Time for an update I reckon...

Retired from DD status last summer, which means now it's my beach camping, mountain exploring, fun wheelin toy.

Went up to a 4.5" Rough Country kit, 32x11.50's, a Ford 8.8 with LSD and disc brakes, and geared the HP 30 geared 4.10 to match the rear and installed an Aussie Locker. Extremely happy with the gear set up, and the LSD/Locker combo. Also have a set of AJ's sliders on, and Ruff Stuff diff covers front and rear.

Couldn't ask for a better go anywhere-do anything vehicle!

wow that engine looks right at home in there. Had to do a double take lol

Did you do anything to address the distributor? Those engines are notorious for distributor failure, especially due to water since it's in the front of the engine
