Raffle XJ workdays info.

It's that time again guys... Build weekend again... Once again we need the help now more then ever. It is crunch time. Here are the parts we have:

Jeff and I picked up the shaved D60 from Mingo Tuesday
Full front suspension
Roll Cage

So we have stuff to work on. Anyone that can help come out... We are ready to get this thing done. So guys get your butts off the couch and lets do this...

I'm probably on the road to IN and SC to check on fam. Thanks for the great time last weekend.
Must remember to leave earlier though. Rush hour after Castle Rock through Denver and then a nasty spring Blizzard on Berthoud Pass made for rather an interesting trip home! Should've taken the Jeep Or find a way to get a pilots license and fly from Granby
:twak:

Listen guys I know we all have issues in our lives to deal with. However we need to get this things done. We would like to get this thing shipped out by early May. And there is a lot of work to do. I know if we try we can get more people out. And if you guys don't have the weekend to work on it PM LED or PlaneFixer. They will be getting to a point where they will be out at the hanger in the evenings. Lets take some pride in this project and show people the CO chapter can build a Jeep :NAXJA: can be proud of.

I'm disappointed in lack of help/interest from our members "up north" (Denver metro area). No one can even set aside even one Saturday or Sunday to help with the build?- C'mon. If you have to work thats one thing but you cant tell me everyone has to work weekends.I've been keeping a list of all those who have helped (so they can, and will, receive proper acknowledgement for their efforts), including a member in Grand Junction, and one in Grandby, and its a pretty short list.

Don't get me wrong on this- I'm not trying to "guilt" anyone into helping, and at the last chapter meeting everyone there stepped up big-time when we "passed the hat" for donations for the build, which is outstanding, but we could use more manpower.

:rant off:

Hey no worries I don't do much more the hold stuff and food runs too. Just be glad to have you on board. I have 3 open seats in my truck for people to ride with me. Come on you Denver and up North guys where are you on this. I thought the Colorado chapter was building this thing. I guess it is just the Colorado South chapter building it. :moon: Give me a call and I will run you guys down... 720-341-7219.

Okay one more thing can some of you guy that caome out bring Sawzalls, blades, grinders, and cutoff wheels... Also everyone make sure you guys bring gloves and ear and eye protection...

I've been trying to make it down there, but I've been working my butt off lately. I'm currently in Finland and will be in New York next week. I know excuses are like butt holes, everybody has one and they both stink. How much time is left before the dead line?

Finland then New York... Those are BS excuses... Geez you have to work for a living. That is crap. Pushing for a delievery in three weeks, so this is crunch time. Soon week day evenings in the springs will become work days...

We're still trying to get it done by the end of the month but its likely to spill over into the beginning of May.

Alright guys its that time again... Another work weekend... We had an awesome turnout last time and got a ton done... You Denver guys are a huge disappiontment. I am still offering rides down to the Springs from Denver. I have room for 4. We have had 2 guys from Fort Collins more then any Denver guy has shown up... Except me... So thanks to all that have been showing up. Here is the last group of guys to show...

There was 11 people who showed up. This is a great time to learn and BS with some people you might not have had a chance to meet. We have had guys from every where but Denver showing up. So Denver step it up... We need the help to get this thing gone...

Did ya hear that DJ? You're a disappointment..........

:D

Or is Lone Tree not close enough to be considered Denver? Do ya gotta live in Five Points or Barnum to be considered "from Denver"?

Heck, Stumpy's closer to Denver than any other area.......

Methinks Marktard is geographically challenged.

Well, one popular theory is that I'm busy screwing up a potetially huge XJ chapter based on the millions of XJ's in the state and hundreds of world class trails by my lack of club intrest and celf centerd attidude to use the club to sell my junk.

But I digress......... :D

Well there is that too... Now you must repent for your evil ways...

Sorry brutha, but I said from the get-go that if the Chapter took on that build, I wouldn't be able to participate. I've got too many irons in the fire as it is.

I sincerely am proud of you 'Springs guys for taking it on and putting forth such strong dedication to the task. That also goes for all the volunteers that have been showing up to wrench on the damn thing. Good on all of you for helping that project get to where it needs to be.

Everyone's efforts speaks volumes for the pride we have in our Chapter and NAXJA.org.

(Was that too mushy? :D)
