Projects to complete before NAC-Fest....

I think, for once, I don't have anything that needs to get done.

After logging well over 100 miles at the Hammers though I'll be going over everything anyway.

Hmm, lets see.

Get it driving first
Replace steering box
Plate frame rails
Modify and install gas tank skid
Take ARB bullbar off and redo mounts/cut for clearance/ sink lights into bumper
Install/hard wire winch
Build rear bumper/tire carrier
Modify Slickrock Gear quarterpanel guards and add integrated tail light boxes
Find out what bearings are making noise in rear axle and replace
Remove t-case and clean/fix or probably replace
Remove the broken crossmember bolt from the unirail so I can have more than 3 bolts holding it on.
New crossmember/skid
Get new upper ball joint sleeve to fix camber issue
Get 2 screws to screw the rear OX lever face down, so I don't have to hold my rear OX engaged
Fix the trackbar RE superflex joint that RE keeps sending me the wrong/poor quality parts for
New headlights/wire harness/fitchbox
Buy new tow straps, and only pull people if they have d-ring shackles.

I'm sure there will be more.

Buy new tow straps, and only pull people if they have d-ring shackles

Lets see...what have I got to do in order to get out there...

THINGS TO BUY
Pay for my tires/wheels
gears/install kit for the front 44
passenger side flat top knuckle
carrier for the front

THINGS TO DO
Set up gears in the front 44
Install alloys in the rear 44
Set up (ALL) brackets on the front end
build steering
Mount SXs on the beadlocks (should be fun)

and more I'm sure I'm forgetting.... wish me luck :)

buy and install cage and maybe beadlocks

Where to start? Probably forgetting a lot...

swap in new power steering pump
install 4.5" ps pulley
cut rear floor out/tube it/rear inner cagework
new fuel cell mount location
replace shocks
replace ujoints
replace outer axle tube seal
level lift
get 35's/maybe beadlocks
rewire door speakers
new subs
change oil/filter
do oil pan seals, oil pump, main seals
tube doors
make spare parts/spare tire mounts
fix economy or find second job to pay for all that and the trip itself...

Last one is the hardest...

well thats a good start. :)

jeep go boom boom.

It used to... Pulled the subs/box out of it while it was parked for a while to go in my car. Amp is still there just disconnected. I have a truck box for a pair of subs that I want to mount under my harness bar, just need subs for it. Hm, actually the stereo isn't working in the car right now, maybe I'll just put them back in the XJ? I can't stand long drives with no music.

Well, speaking of Colin's progress, I suppose I'm getting there too.

Lets see...what have I got to do in order to get out there...

THINGS TO BUY
Pay for my tires/wheels done
gears/install kit for the front 44
passenger side flat top knuckle found one!
carrier for the front done

THINGS TO DO
Set up gears in the front 44
Install alloys in the rear 44 almosstttt

Also, got an Aussie for the front axle this past weekend. Another thing added to list of to-do's is a rear disc conversion. Have an 8.8 at my house with discs, so I'll be going with that. Just need to order the teraflex spacers to go on the rear alloys when the bearings/seal get pressed on, and then that's as good as done...
