Projects to complete before NAC-Fest....

Well, speaking of Colin's progress, I suppose I'm getting there too.

Also, got an Aussie for the front axle this past weekend. Another thing added to list of to-do's is a rear disc conversion. Have an 8.8 at my house with discs, so I'll be going with that. Just need to order the teraflex spacers to go on the rear alloys when the bearings/seal get pressed on, and then that's as good as done...

Rear disc was well worth it and not too hard. I have it on my XJ44. If you need any help let me know!

I think I should be all set. How difficult was it to open up the center of the 8.8 rotors? Or would I just be better off getting the ZJ rotors and not deal with it at all?

Here's my actual to do list before I go to NAC fest, after i sat down and went through my jeep I realized I have my work cut out for me.

Weld Exhaust Manifold
Install new style intake (finish porting, remove propper tabs
Install new positive cable (find solution for fuse box power)
Install winch, wire, and also build mounting point.
Create proper bumper tie-ins
Fix upper and lower shock mounts (rear)
Fabricate new axle shock mounts (front)
Install new coils (spacers perhaps)
Adjust radius arms, Trac bar, and Steering linkage accordingly
Repair Passenger seat mount
Repair rocker damge
Finish Hi-Lift mounting point on tire carrier
Inspect Hiems in steering
Grease all joints
Repaint misc pieces and pannels
Wire all accessories to power distribution block
Research ZJ viscus coupler (cooling system)
Inspect passenger side wheel bearing
Wire door speakers, fix hatch speakers
Replace drivers overhead speaker
CEL issue
Eliminate hatch rattle
Fix pin for tire carrier
Mount fire Englisher
Replace bolts on fuse block
First-aid kit
fix driver side door leak
Fabricate D-ring tabs (front bumper)

Other things that aren't necessary but I'd like to have done.

Shave rear pumpkin on Chrysler 8.25
Truss bottom section of D30 C's
Shackle relocation
Create storage solutions for tools and gear

Thanks for the heads up, it seemed like it would be alot easier...

man oh man am I jealous of some of these "projects" hehe

damn! that reminds me of another thing, I need to re-install my OBA setup. the list growssss. :soapbox::soapbox::soapbox:

Yeah. I just learned that this coming Saturday, IF I work, will be my last Saturday working :D :D :D :D I'm suuuper excited to actually be able to have a weekend day off, I can start to get the ball rollin a little more!!

Besides the usual lube up stuff. Cooling system flush etc,

-Get/install Front recovery.
-Install JKS Shackles
-Get/install as much oem armor etc (Hey my small built DD can't get beat around even if I do run light trails.)

Sure it can... You just run the risk of it turning into mine ;)

And that's why I own 2 jeeps now :conceited

you suck :roflmao:

i ordered everything i need from JKS last night and a header too... going to order some RE parts, summit machine flex joints and tube inserts, and the go-fer-it inserts today.

that leaves the actual WJ oem parts left to purchase, and that's it. (other than steel to fix rust and reinforce...)

I'm gonna cut it close I think lol :laugh3:

flex joints, tube adapters, RE parts, LH/RH 34-16 rod is ordered...

all that's left to buy is steel, goferit inserts, and oem WJ parts.

then i have to install it all haha.
