Just ordered some FK heims. The 3/4-3/4 I'm running on the trackbar I got with my link kit are already shot. I figured the heims wouldn't be the best, but shot after first few runs, relatively easy ones at that, has me pretty bummed out. Thinking the fk's will be a much better choice.

If you got the expensive Kevlar ones, they are amaze balls. Nothing else comes close.

I'm not sure. Could have been a bad set. The ither heims feel great. Only one of the trackbar heims is bad. And it's not blown out. But it's noisy and loose compared to new. I may need to run a larger size. I'm not sure. Will know better once the fk are on tomorrow.

few questions on your leaf setup... if i remember the thread correctly, HD offroad shackle relocation boxes, boostwerks comp shackles, and RE leafs? what lift height leaf? im curious because i have basically the same stuff, i am beyond happy with flex, but definitely dont have 14" of travel. what have you done for bump stopping?

also... how much stretch were you able to get without moving the gas tank?

Yep yep yep.
5.5" leaf. I like RE leaf but usually stuff. They balance out well with the awesome swing of the boostwerks shackles. (I would recommend different relocation boxes (in my plans) because the bolts and zerk fitting on shackle don't get along while keeping a good angle.

I'll measure total rear movement once it's back together.
Bump stopping is factory.
Did the ruff stuff ubolt eliminator perches that allow up to 2" rear movement. I used all of that. At full bump both sides, cover taps the tank skid. But I don't jump it so not a big worry to me.

there is a large difference, i am on their 3.5" spring.

i noticed the zerk issue... i cut the offending bolt down to just the height of the shackle box to locate the box, and fastened the box down with the second bolt. then i welded the two brackets together and trimmed the shackle box to only the hole that i am using.

i think i can stretch my 9" back a little, but i am not going to get 2" without new spring pads. any issues with axle wrap?

Yeah that's exactly what I did with the location boxes.

Not yet. I'm keeping an eye on it as I plan for a traction bar.

Weighed the jeep today. With me, about 100lbs of air compressor and tools, it's 5020#. So jeep is roughly 4700 fueled up rolling weight. Not too terrible I guess. Considering.

So getting ready to swap the hydro this week, get the belly skid on, and finish cooling rebuild. I'm looking at things moving forward and considering swapping the front Detroit to a spool. With the hubs spool isn't a big deal. And keeps the cost down if that's the route I go. It's the LS Detroit so I'm curious when I'm going to over power it and be stuck with what is essentially an unlocked front. Opinions?
