Project Telluride: tons, big rubber, and a clean slate.

took her for some drives to see my folks and see how she drives. Got to flex her out and check parts n pieces pieces n parts. Overall it worked just how i wanted. Eventually i really need to find a way to stretch the track bar. No wobbles but the bumpsteer is annoying as balls. Has plenty of get up and go. Runs 70 at about 2300 rpm got about 17.2 mpg springs to denver as well. Pretty stoked about that.
Also snagged a pic with my bro and sis and their rigs.

Thanks man. I was shocked to say least. I did the math a few times to confirm. Gauges are about 12% off.

The passenger side was easy to seal back up by moving the fender back. I'm
Still fighting the driver side because of the fuel door stuff so it will be tight to seal up. In the small nooks and cracks I am using expanding foam that I'll eventually trim down (expands a LOT! ). And that has helped a ton. I am very happy with the rear setup. I'm using all of the 14" travel shocks in the rear and that's damn impressive to me. I still need to brace them together. And eventually tie in the cage. But yeah. Definitely glad I spent the money.

On the front. I feel they would work great. Concern up front is the large space they take up. Looking at options from poly, ballistic, and artec for when the time comes as they are a bit nor
Compact.

Potentially wheeler lake. Never been.

Would love to hit that up with ya, but Nikki and I have like 14 things going on next weekend

Spent a good chunk this weekend working on her Jeep.

Did a head gasket...did it need one? Nope

I'd see if you're up for something the weekend after, but I have a feeling the buggy isn't going to get out until after COFest.

How about Indy? :D

Cool let me know. I've got a small leak off rear diff I need to track down. But otherwise I should be ready by then. Trying to rack up miles to find issues before its on trail instead of the road.

Took her on a shakedown run. Need to trim bumper corners, tires rub at full bump.
Hydro assist is next on the list.
While i dont get much for bumpsteer or any other issues, the weird angle of flex on front axle due to shorter trackbar has me nuts. So new axle side bracket is already in the mail and will be addressed before the next trip with it (likely ColoradoFest in Ouray.

Nice rig !!

In the 2nd & 3rd pics, it looks like you may be getting some steer from the rear axle as well.

I think there is a little bit. Simply due to how much travel the rear is making with the leaf packs. Not as bad as the pics may suggest. Something I'm going to check more specifically.

Was able to get some work done and had some new parts and pieces show up that were installed as well. No pics as I've been stupid busy with work, lifting the lady's truck, and getting ready for cofest. I'll likely have some shots later today or what cofest.
