Today I will be fixing one of the biggest issues I currently have
DSCN2244.jpg

When I did the oil pump I failed to put the oil pan gasket in the rear grove of the block and it now allows oil to piss out everywhere when its running... So im going to reseal that today.

Im still waiting on my Shock tabs from Ruff Stuff hoping to see them today or tommorow.

Ill update this later when the pan is resealed

Lookin good dude!

You planning on having it down at NACfest?

Thanks man and yeah itll be there... may not be 100% but its getting wheeled! it really just needs shocks to be wheelable oh and a front DS

Made some good progress today

Started with fixing the MEGA oil leak
DSCN2260.jpg

Heres the cause...
DSCN2261.jpg

the gasket actualy seems to big to seal so we cut a section out and siliconed the rest of it... Seems to be holding well

Also located the reason it was running so rough... I had the map sensor vaccum line in the wrong port on the TB, Runs much smoother now!

Also realised I have some steering contact with my track bar bracket so that will need some trimming
DSCN2264.jpg

Also have to decide how to trim the rear quarters more

Got some stuff done today, front kings are mounted perfectly front ds is shortened and got some other minor things done.

DSCN2280.jpg

To mount the shocks I used some tabs from Ruff Stuff and some stem eliminators from teraflex.

The eliminators needed the powder coat wire wheeled off the bolt otherwise they were nice, shock tabs worked mint. I mounted the shocks so that at full droop the coil is off the bucket less that 1/2". The truck wil be limit strapped at some point so the coil doesnt leave the mount.
Full droop

Then I went on to shorten the front ds 3/4". First time doing this and it seems to have come out decent.

I started by cutting a nice straight cut around the tube on the factory weld, then used the cut to run the grinder in and make it into a bigger grove.

Then i switched back to a cut off and finished cutting the slip off.

I removed 3/4" of material and then continued to set the slip back in place and burned it in

As you can see in the last pic I also hooked up the filler neck and mounted the fuel tank, The truck floor is not 100% so i just did this to get it safe to wheel at NAC Fest

seems like you may have something other then stock hoses for the fuel tank right now... but as it sits, I would worry about fuel spilling, on anything where the pass side is higher then the driver side.

What do you mean? You think fuel will come out of the vent hoses? The filler neck is connected

why you gonna limit it so much?
what the front end? I think it should work fine, plus when the coils dropping out you really don't have any weight on that wheel so it doesn't benefit.
