Haven't got much done lately, been working around the clock, but i did manage to get the E-code headlights installed with Sylvania 9003SU SilverStar Ultra High Performance, i removed the little disco ball thingy and HOLY BRIGHTNESS BATMAN ! Im still gonna upgrade the harness later but its crazy how much brighter it is.

make sure youre not blinding anybody, you can get a ticket if its not legal... like taking off the reflector thing...
its all good, i re-aimed them so they don't.

Got a little done today, after a nice nap following a 24hr shift. Installed the front driveshaft and lowered the T-Case about 3/4" with longer bolts and spacers and the driveline vibes went away.
and as much as i hate the icky stuff, we hit a little mud down under the overpass by Red River in Clarksville
Then LASR hauled a 16' double axle trailer to Smyrna, about 75 miles away, impressive little beast, barely knew the trailer was there, and cruised at 70mph down the interstate.
and thats all for today, got another 24hr shift tomorrow, last one, yay ! (I hope)

I worked at UPS as a seasonal Delivery helper, can tell you from experience that if we don't have to get a signature, we are required to leave the package regardless, we are supposed to look for a spot, but if we can't find it we are supposed to leave it wherever, I think it sucks. One day we delivered a 42" LCD and there was no signature required, fortunately the guy was home but UPS just isn't right. You've worked wonders with the jeep... Nice to see a turn around like that... I have no experience with paint and body, so Im currently looking for driver side doors and rear hatch for my 97 Blue XJ... Very Difficult.

But... I did get some more done, I added some black side moulding to break up the silver a little and reapplied the decals. (yes, still got some mud on it)
Needs a bath, clear coat needs to be finessed in a few spots and still needs to buffed, getting close.... not ! lol

well I have been quiet for a few days but I've been getting a little done here and there.
oh and the other day my shepherd decided to be project manager...
ok the latest upgrades...
sold my 30" tires and got some "get me by tires" but then decided those wouldn't work so "LAZR" got some brand new shoes today.
They are Goodyear Wrangler Authority 31x10.5R15, they are super beefy, low price and ride great and balance extremely well.
Today I stopped by the local c4c lot too and found 2 fresh XJ's, grabbed a headlight harness with foglight plugs, now i have fogs, YAY !
and a Cruise servo that works so now i have Cruise, Yay 2 ! and i grabbed a windshield washer motor too,
and got that wired up, it wasn't hooked up before, so Yay 3 !
I also re-installed the inner fender plastic and insulation strips, that helped reduce road noise some.
Oh and a few more stickers since my last post, and more to come !

LOVE the zombie sticker!
you need some vinyl along the hood line on the fenders that says 'Project L.A.Z.R." in official looking letter type face. that would send it over the top for cool factor.

so we flexed LAZR out at LBL, did good except it kept hitting the fenders and bumper caps, and tore the pass side flare off, I got the kit together (minus drop brackets) to go up 2 more inches, so that it should be sitting at 5-5.5" total lift.

after I washed it today, I found the fender kinked:bawl:
heres the 2" lift im adding
so once i get a day off, im gonna install this and hopefully be set for a while, but first we will have to do another test run, yay !

Bummer on the kink - was it from the tire hitting the fender?
