Looking good! Gotta have the stickers.

yeah, well they are all cool and i promised the original owner, Ckale1, that they would stay, and ive got a few more to add too

btw looking really good. shes almost done, atleast to the point you can start modding on here :D
ya know it, back together then back apart for mods, its the vicious cycle of a Jeep

apparently my other post didnt make it up...

i also mentioned:

just a thought, what if you took the "Jeep" logo and put it upsidedown next to the latch justified with the corner of the license plate indentation. it would have a two fold effect, people would do a double take because it would be a bit of an optical illusion to the first glance, and (2) it could mean, if you wanted it too, "if you can read this im rolled over" type of thing without having that stupid vinyl on the glass windhield/hatch

That made it through, I think it's on the page before this one toward the end. I like the idea personally.

alright, slow going over the past few days but working towards my goal of being on the road by the end of the week.

went to the JY and picked up the last few of the missing parts: adjustable seatbelt tracks, floor drain plugs, rear hatch wiring harness, rear bumper corner retaining plates.

also got alot more installed /fixed:
-center dash wires repalced (the ones that were cut off)
-installed center console
-installed rear seat with headrests
-installed rear seat belts
-installed rear area/cargo trim
-tacked on a JY exhaust (for now)

tomorrow LASR is getting a windshield installed, and got a few things to do here and there but should be ready to go. I hope to take it for a cruise this weekend, test it out and get any kinks worked out before the next big step. Did somebody say Lift ?

im working on the project RSAL ... the un-silver.. lol

mark

ok got the windshield installed today and got it registered, got a cool standard issue tag for now ends in "XKZ"

maybe take it for a test ride tomorrow, its starting to collect dust in the garage, lol

great build man i have a question though i see you have a newer radio in their, how does that fit the trim? and how did the wireing work out for that?

Yes, it fits with the same plug in on the back and kinda fits in the slot ok, needs some modification but i think i can get it to work.

You should bring the L.A.S.R. down to the S.M.&.G.
yeah, i want to go and gonna try my best to get down there, im just really limited on my days off right now, i only have 5 days off this month and i doubt April will be any better.

The weekend was kinda productive for LASR, got the last of the missing parts from the donor jeep, and got it all back together now. Took it for a test drive, seemed to do well overall, also found out that i dont have any spring isolators installed, that makes for an interesting ride, also no rear swaybar on a stock suspension is very soft in the turns to say the least.

also painted up the center radio bezel in silver, i messed up on the paint, went to sand it off and ended up with something cool.

I'll post more pics tonite, just have to reinstall the overhead console and reinstall the tow hooks, apparently i have to trim the opening in the bumper end caps to fit them.

I might bring the B.P.O.S. down.
is that safe ?

ok, heres some pics of the latest work:

think I'm gonna throw a BB on it for now, spring isolators are a Must !

You've done a great job putting it together. I like the color. The buget boost will give it a nice stance with the tires that you have on there.

Sorry I missed you the other night. My wife said you were able to get in the shop for the parts you needed. At least by leaving the parts XJ inside you were dry and had light, right?

big time, being inside worked out good, it started down pouring at one point, ill be back down there again soon to give ya a hand, gotta get it outside and gotta clean up shop too.

...scratch the BB,

I ordered LASR an RC lift, hope to have it delivered and installed by saturday (with spring isolators)...
