And yes thats a completely destroyed NVG box on the far right...wasnt quite as secure as I thought, the tool box went next.

Got to fab something up here soon.

Isn't a gun barrell always supposed to be pointed up?
:)

Ah I didn't see page 13! I've used windex in my M91-30 before. I really don't pay too much attention to cleaning my barrels though; I figure the next bullet to be fired cleans it good enough. Seems to work for me thus far. After all my M91 is 68 years old and still works fine.

Its actually not to "clean" it per se, its the ammonia in the windex, it gets rid of the salts that get deposited in the barrel after firing corrosive ammunition from eastern bloc states that was made in the 50s-80s

Finished box. I guess I am happy with it. weighs about 40lbs empty, coulda done without that. I do like the way it cleans up the interior and stlill has room for strapping down camping gear and coolers.

is this just a trail rig or a daily driver too?, i found that because my rigs a daily driver that i dont need to carry that extra 100 lbs worth of stuff anymore. i got my big cargo box with wheels that i wheel out to my jeep when i take it to the trails carries my tow strap, chain, come along, 4 clevis's, my reciever shackle, 2" ball, extra belt, TP and my lil tool box, then i see you carry a bunch of stuff, and i think to myself... im gonna need a trailer to haul all the stuff i need if this is the case lol

I drive the jeep to work (50mi) about one day a week. Most of the items shown are carried full time. Behind the box are d44 and d30 axle shafts and a tierod and draglink. The plan is to outfit the cargo bay for the field loaded for a long weekend and not have to remove everything to gain access to an item.

Now that a good looking setup....mines a 1 drawer....as soon as I raise it up w/ spacers about 3" so I can put a few things under it and carpet it like yours I'll post a few pics

You can't tell because of the carpeting but the center section of the top is honeycombed to allow plenty of airflow to the subs. Let's me have enough strength that I can still throw whatever junk I need to up top. (Granted if I sit something right above the subs and I crank 'em up it will rattle it around a bit)

Thats frackin genius! :yelclap:
