Is there a product i can use to remove wax from my black plastic endcaps???

i would try a light solvent.

or greased lightning and a brush.

Yes. Use GoJo (the lava soap used at most shops). I detail cars for a Chrysler/Dodge/Jeep dealership and GoJo will pull it right out with a light touch. Don't rub too hard with it, elsewise you'll darken the cap.
