Im trying to find some more places to wheel in the bay area... I know of Hollister Hills, Carnegie, and Frank Raines. Are there any other parks or trails in this area?
Thanks,

That is pretty much it for legal wheeling in the Bay Area.
There is also the place in Vacaville that is on private property, and only open on Sundays with an appt. Someone will know more about this place, there have been threads about it.

Yeah. The fam has a cabin up at Lake Alpine.. We ran half of slick rock, and took a peak at deer valley (rig was stock). Also ran pacific valley (no challenge lol). Next time we head up there will probably be for deer hunting season, and hopefully we will run deer valley. (rig is lifted now with some goodies).
Im just tryin to find some nearby places for a day trip or something.
Bob's Mix Canyon is very cool for a day trip or to test out new mods. It is rather small but can be very challenging if you ae up for running Lower Hells Revenge. Not too many rigs can make it up upper Hells Revenge.
Bob is very cool. Just sign a waiver and the place is yours. A half day is perfect for running the trails. A whole day if you want to BS with other wheelers too.
4 miles down Pleasants Valley Road off I80 at Vacaville. 5 miles down Mix Canyon Road you will find the gate keeper at the entrace to his property. Pretty steep, rutted trail to get to the staging area.
The guys from work go to a place near Ukiah its just north of the North Bay. I guess there is a man made rock course and some other decent wheeling. I have not made it out there yet so I cant say from experience. http://maps.google.com/maps?ie=UTF-8&hl=en&tab=il
