Pismo Beach This Weekend - April 30th-May 1st

So, I am probably going to be heading down there this weekend for one night...hopefully it is worth the trip from up north here.

I have been to Glamis before, so I have a bit of duning under my belt.

Some questions:
-will anyone be out there?
-recommendations on where to camp at Oceano SVRA?
-typical gear I should carry in case I get stuck (boards, tow strap, hook, shovel, etc?)
-are there usually a lot of of people out there on the weekend? I am not going to wander off somewhere where I get stuck Im screwed, so preferably I would like a good number of people to have options if I get stuck lol
-any other suggestions?

if you camp on the beach, dont get too close to the water. Sometimes the high tides like to creep up pretty high.

You wont be the only one out there. and its a fairly small place, so if you get stuck, its likely someone will drive by.
