Had another great weekend in the Ridgecrest area wheeling and exploring.
On Friday Andy and I(and later Lisa) finnished up the new Snake Bait trail. We both were once again denied on the entrance waterfall and had to winch a little. I got to a point where I thought I had the traction to drive it but it might have also snapped a rear axle so I took to the winch instead.
Here's some pics from waterfall one and two.

On Saturday we headed over to Last Chance Canyon. Curtis(DesertXJ) tagged along with us in his new TJ.

...I was able to keep it upright and with a little work ramming my front bumper I made a clean run through.

Later on up the canyon we got into some red rocks...

On Sunday we headed to the Panamints and Goler Wash. The bottom had some steep cuts, not where you'd want to be in a flash flood...

We stopped by the Barker Ranch for a few beers and waited for Charles but he never showed up...

We then headed over Mengel Pass and into Butte Valley.

so all the cool kids are getting the Creepy Crawlers huh, you next Jes? or you gonna keep the MTRs for all the street driving?

Those tires are terrable on the street, no way would I run bias plys on a daily driver. If I towed my junk I'd get some in a 37" flavor though.

Slonopotam, yes, that butte.
Snake Bait is near Ridgecrest.

Who wants to wheel when you can be applying a Sawzall to a Jeep?
