Hey,

I dont' want to raise a ruckus or anything, but I decided to join and I did the application process online. I sent in the money it cleared through paypal and my account shows that I have spent the 45 dollars. It's been a couple days now that I have been charged the 45 bucks to my account and I haven't heard anything back in forms of email or something. Sorry for being a PITA but I'm on a college budget and I can't have money dissapear all the time.

Well you will get an email soon if not already from our membership director but he also has a job and only processes new members once or twice a week. So if you have not heard anything in 7 days, We will look into it futher.

No offense to Skorpyo, but he is a bit slow. He is a very busy guy. When I sent my money, it took about 6 to get a reply, then about another 3 or 4 to get things entered.
Patience is a great virtue!

Your membership was processed as of yesterday morning and you should have received your welcome email and your membership package should follow in a few days. With the online process I have gotten some questions from people assuming that this process is instant and should only take a few hours, but there is still a fair bit of manual process for completing membership applications. I will try and edit the automated email sent out upon completing an application that will state that membeships aren't processed immediately, but rather at the soonest availability of volunteer time. With the debut of the online process membeship applications have increased on a nearly 10-fold level and it has become more difficult to keep up with, though I can assure all applicants that there has yet to be a person missed, nor an application slip through the cracks.

Imma Honkys application arrived while I was away on travel so his processing time was delayed further. The organization is run entirely by volunteers who work hard to meet the demands and desires of the membership, though as volunteers all of us devote our time and efforts in a prioritized manner as we do have lives and loved ones who need us much more so than the club. I am not trying to be harsh if that is what you are reading, I am simply stating that sometimes things in this club take time, though I can assure you that every volunteer and BOD member works as best they can for the club and the membership.
