Parking boot

Maybe an explanation is due. Our local P.D. is now putting boots on vehicles with unpaid parking tickets. So I was just curious?

Thats kinda funny.. seeing a hummer get a boot put on. I can see how they afford to have a H1 and not pay tickets. My cousin cut his off. And never returned to that place again.

Well, I wasn't starting a debate on whether or not to pay a parking ticket. Or the legality of cutting one off. I just wondered it they were designed to fit an oversized tire.

I wonder it it would cover the 3 bolts that holds on the wheel hub /bearing assembly? But then agian it would be far easier to pay the ticket than to go through the trouble of finding out.

I guess to have an opinion, I'd have to ask how much you owe in parking fines. Would it more or less then the cost of a 24V battery operated 4.5" grinder? I say cut the stupid POS off and make it disappear.

(there's a guy in England who goes around cutting boots off at random. Really pissed the bobbies off because the people affected have no clue they've ever been booted.)
