that yours?? regardless, thats a cleanly done chop. Dont get any cleaner than that.

lol nope. I was just joking about that not actually being an MJ.

Heres a thought for anyone that cares:

How about instead of getting a spot for a club booth, you get a swap meet booth (or 3) and guys that want to come assist also have the option of cleaning out their parts pile. This makes it fun plus youre actually picking up a few bucks while promoting the Org. It also will draw in Cherokee owners that may stroll past a club only booth.

Rocto-Rich & I were discussing it plus other things to make NAC members get more from their membership... I'd help out and or "RED UP" if the BOD wants to hold this to red only guys. This years event was bigger than last year and I assume it will continue to grow. Its a good time / camping out / meeting good folks. I'll be there next year selling stuff regardless. I'd lend a hand to the events guy or whomever wants to get this going.

That was a super clean XJ converted into an "MJ". I spent a few minutes checking it out. Auctually looks like something you would see overseas made by other companys., especially down under.

First off, I think that's a great idea and props for coming up with it. It sounds like you really want to get involved. You don't have to be a member of the BOD or anything like that to represent NAXJA at an event, and you have all of our support up here.

Second, I think it would be a great idea to get you guys some banners, info packets, etc. ahead of time. I plan on trying to make the Jeep Rally up here this September and running a NAXJA booth as well and it would be really beneficial to have all that stuff beforehand. We should definitely look into making some new banners. Where did your friend get banners made? Can we see some examples? Definitely worth pursuing.

FYI, I can also have banners made. Not an issue.

I have a very clean NAXJA North Atlantic Chapter banner already that has been used at events (besides this year at NACFest because I forgot to bring it.)

Would that be the same banner I took (and flew) at ColoradoFest? Save that one, man, its got some good miles on it.

Good thoughts by Brad, here. I can vouch, we had a good conversation about all the goings-on, and he is spot-on that the show this year was the biggest in memory ( Last years was the first I had not attended since 2006), and I was a little dumbstruck by how many nice Comanches were there.
I know this is a dead horse, but I have to bring it up, because I hear it (or variations of it) all the time. People ask, a lot, what NAXJA membership does for them. I know what it has done for me, as to meeting great friends and taking part in fun events, but I do understand what they mean. This is where some creativity is in order. As I mentioned to Brad, a club more local to me uses the proceeds from their show to pay for the weekend camping and a modest dinner for York show attendees. This hits a few marks: it entices people to attend/enter the show, it boosts turnout, and therefore warm bodies to help man the club booth, and it spreads exposure for NAXJA. Not for nothing, but it also gets people who attend whove been around awhile a bit of excitement about being involved. I took home some ideas and got back cracking on my own rig (yeah, the old green one), because it gave me a little boost. Everybody wins.

if it helps raise interest I made well over a G. (however I do gather stuff specifically for this event)

Stukboy's kids like briarwoods more than icecream hahah

...and yes, there's that also. Its a great opportunity to meet people, see cool stuff. and turn your garage mess into money. Whats not to love?
