Just spoke to the people at OX LOCKER and they told me that there chrysler 8.25 should be ready for install in 4 to 5 months so those of you who do not want to change over to a dana 44 will be able to run your chysler rear axle. Like me because i already did a disc brake conversion. :rof:

I have no idea but they said there locker is in its final stages. And should be ready and on the market in about 4 months

Haven't they always been saying this, or was that a lunchbox style locker I am thinking of but the name escapes me?

You are most likely thinking of the 29 spline Aussie locker that was promised for about 3 or so years, before it finally came out beginning of this year.

Rear OX came in the XJ44 when I bought it, I bought the front when I built my front 44 last summer from 4wd hardware. It is listed for $840 currently, not including cable, but I got a $100 gift certificate when I ordered. (I also don't remember it being that expensive, but I can't remember)

I only have a few runs on them, but have nothing bad to stay. Diff cover took a beating, and the only thing that happened was it rounded off the socket head set screw that is the drain plug. (A dremel will fix that when I get around to it)

Despite what some people will say, adjusting the cable is not hard. Adjust it so it works while tires are jacked up, then use loctite like the directions say, and you won't have to adjust it again.

Yeah I am leaning more towards an OX locker. Thanks for the info those are the types of questions i needed from someone who has used the product
