If you have over 500 posts there is no reason you should not join up and help support the site that you have been using. :nono:

There it is, simply stated, my opinon.

Rev

I will now stand by and allow the losers to attempt a defense.

Keep posting bud ... I have under 300 and just paid for a two year membership. You've helped me keep those other Techs honest ... so I've got you covered.

Take care.

But begore I was a member i didnt tell people i saved them money and they should give me a free membership. Thats gay. How much have YOU gotten off here mr. smarty pants? Now shouldnt it be worth it for 30 bones to donate to a good cause, so others can learn in the future?

A good lawyer, a good doctor, and a good mechanic. All are valuable. HOWEVER...you can't tell me dealers don't recomend DISHONEST preactices on the repair end by overselling. Thats how the Service Manager makes his $$. An honest one doesn't last long at most places and you KNOW IT.

Its VERY hard to find a good any of the 3.

why did it take you 4 years to join. i have been working on jeeps and only jeeps for 17 years. i have given plenty of advice to plenty of members.and helped them tremendously. if you have doubt ask the people i responded to.i wasnt asking for a free membership, i was stating that i can give info that other dont have access to without going to the dealer and paying their rates. why dont you donate your $80 per hour to get e good diagnosis from someone trained to fix your problems

took so long because college was way more important than a jeep club.

I dont give my $80 bucks an hour because I am a good diagnosis tech..... but i am on the rare case of that end. Not many trained in advanced computer repairs.

no no. I'm haven't had any, but you've heard the stories too. I appreciate correct info, but you KNOW how those Service Managers are... :shhh:

No problem ... for thirteen years my XJ has been touched by a five-star dealer only. I have found in most cases, the parts and service guys are really honest to begin with. I'm a repeat customer so they give me good discounts on parts.

Sometimes the service writers get things hosed up though (the new guys)... lack of proper communication and describing the issue to the Techs.

All in all ... Mopar folk are good to deal with.

Why do you visit these forums? I assume that if your not here for tech help, you enjoy helping others, and perhaps enjoy reading the non-tech forums. NAXJA is providing this place where you enjoy spending your time. Isn't that service worth somthing?

Re: Things that I LOVE about stock XJ's

what i like is, all of you jeep owners who come to the dealer and help me buy my house, the 18 by 40 foot pool in the back yard and the lincoln in the garage. thanks again all of you loyal jeep owners.

So, do all XJ owners owe you, or do you owe all the XJ owners?

pull the pin, toss it in, the run.
great fun.

I can barely afford to pay my rent right now since I went back to school--Atlanta is so damn expensive. I only have a few semesters left and then after I start making some money I will be more than happy to shell out asap. I have had money set aside to pay for a membership a few times and something always comes up. I do honestly appologize and I really will pay as soon as I can. The knowledge I have gained from NAXJA is more than worth the price of membership.

Btw, Jneary's advice in the oem tech forum is always on point and accurate. He really is a great asset to NAXJA.

Don't you guys get it, he knows more than the rest of us and should get special privilages for it, my god how could you posibly expect a member supported org to actually expect people to become members, there how is that for a twisted defense :dunno:
