Some people should not breed.

I saw program on them a few days ago. It was quite eye-opening. Especially since I live in the Pacific Northwest...

Last month, the girls were scheduled to perform at the local county fair in their hometown. But when some people in the community protested, Prussian Blue was removed from the line-up. But even before that, April had decided that Bakersfield was not "white" enough, so she sold her home, and hopes that she and the girls can find an all-white community in the Pacific Northwest.

It also calls into question their competency as parents guardianship and rights over the kids.

I hear the same about teaching my children Christian values. That censorship sword cuts both ways.:lecture:

I know but those are values of love and tolerance.

Anyway the reason I bring it up was the dad appears not to have custody. I assume there was a legal proceding for this. If I were a judge, I'd look at the situation and say, hmm the mom or the dad... how 'bout niether.

I agree. Think about it both ways- yes, hate in every form is a petty emotion and really not worth it... But...

*Before I say this, everyone needs to know I'm not racist, or trying to be so*

What about these rappers? Their work is largely propaganda to young people. What about ignorant blacks teaching their children that they are owed everything? Everyone knows not all are like this, but there are the select few that give everyone a bad name. It works the same for these white girls who's heads have been filled with lies. They attain the image of racists and it reflects.

Hm... another thought of mine...

Why is it when whites speak 'proudly' of their heritage, how they want to keep it alive, and what they think of it, it becomes a racial issue, but when blacks or latinos speak of their ways and heritage it is just a matter of self-pride and/or cultural recognition.

I don't think any kind of isolation is a good thing. Everyone needs to just accept we are all just human and alike, then get on with their lives. I don't care if you are Chinese, Cuban, Swiss, whatever- we're all the same.

But hey, what do I know?

Truth and Love; I don't know where you come up with tolerance.

I'm Mexican, and proud of my culture. You ask why it becomes a racial issue when Whites speak proudly of their heritage.

What exactly is White heritage? I think you're mentioning the likes of KKK and Nazi groups. Those organizations revolve around racism and hate, that's how it becomes a racial issue. I would believe that calling blacks "niggers", and latinos "wetbacks" would qualify as racial slurs. As far as I know, there have been no groups past or present rallying Latino Supremacy.

I can't recall ever hearing of any White people getting bashed for taking pride in the good things they've done for the masses.

If you watched the news in the past few weeks you probably saw what happened in Ohio. There was law enforcement everywhere, who pays their salaries? It really pisses me off that taxpayers are paying to keep order under those circumstances. A bill needs be passed banning organized hate.

While I don't condone what these groups stand for, if their voices are quieted (legally)...where does it end from there? If they're not hurting anyone, what's the use in banning it just because you don't like it? Rules and regulations are for law-abiding peoples, criminals don't care. Look what happened to that group who formed a protest... The townspeople who didn't like it protested themselves and ended up becoming hypocrites. Their hate was so strong for this hate group, they were no better themselves. Loving, caring, tolerant, Christian people? Does Christianity need to be banned now? How about organized religion? A group of local 4x4 enthusiasts goes out and parties in the woods where you like to wheel. They leave trash all over the place and tear up the land. For those few there are thousands more who enjoy it. Should OHV use be banned? Of course not. As I said, every group is going to have their ass hats, but we can't just go banning everything because a few people have problems. It won't stop the bad ones anyway. Restraining orders don't stop abusive husbands from coming back and beating their wives. Traffic laws don't stop people from speeding. The list goes on and on...

"A bill needs be passed banning organized _______ ." Fill in the blanks and think about it.

Hm, I see what you mean, but I'm just trying to kinda display both sides. Yes, KKK and Nazi groups do revolve around hate, but I'm not talking about them. Those guys are douches and everyone knows it.

I didn't say anything about a Latino supremacy group. I was just saying that if a white guy were to stand-up and declare he's proud to be white, somebody would probly consider it racist. I've never seen it to be so with other groups.

I can't put it into words that'll truly make sense to anyone other than me, so I'll just say I think there are double standards. :dunno:

If you pass a bill banning organized hate, someone would probably scream it's a ban on free speech... it's a stupid technicality, but it is someone's rights.

I've always just kinda played by the "Your rights end where someone else's begin" thinking.

I think racism in rap is a lousy thing too, but these kids aren't just singing about their proud cultural heritage, are they? I think you'll find there are plenty of whites and anglos singing proudly of their heritage without racist implications - the world is full of folk songs and historical ballads glorifying this stuff in some way or other, but white supremacy is another matter.

I hope these kids have a long and controversial career, though, because they are in their own way providing some valuable lessons. Among other things, if they are not censored, they cannot make claims that they are suppressed or oppressed. I'd rather see them booed or laughed off the stage for their execrable lyrics than banned for their content. In addition, we tend to think of Nazis and white supremacists as ugly and alien, marginal, not "us." These kids are a useful reminder that this kind of malignant hatred does not require that you be identifiable in any way other than what you say and do.

Perhaps because they are so white, and so awful, they will serve as a reminder that awful people of any race should not be considered to give that race "a bad name," especially if you do in fact believe that such people should be free of suppression and censorship. Ordinary black people are no more responsible for gangsta rap than I am for Lynx and Lamb.
