The time has come to get my project under way. Nothing major but a good upgrade project. This jeep started life in my jeep family June of 2009 stock. Picked it up for $375.00 and a solid runner with some rust.

Even came with this kick ass hitch!!!

This jeep was the replacement for Black Betty, which went to the salvage yard after this.

So, after swapping the suspension, axles, and the tranfer case, blue betty looks like this:

Those pictures were taken just after I finished the swap and some quick fender trimming. After wheeling it for a year, it has taken on a new look. LOL

I wheeled on the d30/8.8 for awhile and still love it. But a deal came to me I couldn't pass on. My good friend Joe rolled his jeep he had just finished building last year. He has decided to part ways with it so to me it goes!

Here are some pics of the goodies underneath.

The axles are a d44/9inch from a 77 F-150 with new bearings, seals, 4.56 gears, lockright up front with a spool in the 9inch. Suspension is a full T.N.T. long arm kit. Steering is homemade one ton over the knuckle.
I got started on taking out the front axle last night and plan on getting it out today. I can't wait to get this shit in and wheel it!!!

LOL Tyler!! My previous black jeep was black betty, so, I just followed along kindof. Been in the garage for the most of the morning. I got the front axle out and disassembled.

Just need to get the frame bracket off for the steering and the drop brackets still have to come off. Clean things up a little bit and put them up for sale.

If he's not selling his i'll sell you my pair of 3.73 geared axles that are in the MJ. I'll have them out sometime early January likely.
D30 and 8.8 geared 3.73. D30 has a Lockright in it that I installed Fal Fling Moab 08, probably 6 wheeling trips on it, rear has a mini-spool installed just before WF 10.

I have the boxes/paperwork/spare pins and springs that came with them.
You'll need to do perches and shock mounts on the 8.8. 8.8 has new brakes WF 10, no e-brake stuff in the drums.

Kim, what tires came on that rolled Jeep? the MJ needs new rubber and I like the look of those grooved tires for the rocks.

Both axles are already spoken for, suspension and SYE are up for sale. Nate, the tires are race grooved BFG Baja's. I don't get them or the rims. Bummer. Tyler, pm on the way.
