Ok like it says if you are in KC then post up! Maybe we could do a meet and greet here in town somewhere's? I live in Glaadstone. BBQ is good once it warms up a little. Girlfriend and I have 2 Xj's. That s abou tall I can think of for now.:yap:

Cool I just bought a house with about an acre. Lots of room to have an XJ party :cheers: and BBQ. I bet My new neighbors would really think I'm crazy :looney: if 15 or so Jeeps came out to my place. They already think I'm nut for having 2 of them in the garage.:repair:

Actually my hotel was out near the airport, and the office is near Redneck Heaven. And NONE of you can drive during a ice storm. 35, 70 and 635 were are going about 5 miles a hour when the road was wet but not icy. On 29 people were going into the ditch like freakin lemmings at about 65 mph.

Im just south of K.C. in Raymore, Mo. Wheeling alone sucks!! This area is not exactly big on motorsports, although there are a few offroad parks in the area if you are willing to drive a little bit. The wife, daughter and I are planning to check some of them out this summer. looking at getting a popup camper right now so we can make weekends out of it. We are just getting into wheelin the xj. still got a few more mods before shes ready but this summer should be fun. Always willing to meet new people, sounds like a good time.

Have you looked at kcjeepclub.org? there are a few of us XJ's over there and here. a few planning on going to tuttle next month. what is your rig set up like? I am running 5in with 33s. There will be smaller xjs on sunday, but not sat.

you should definatly look into joining, great bunch of people. You can at least get a username and just be a online member for now, but when you join we(the members) get to go on private land once in a while that is close to KC. But we do 101s for the begginers and have wrenchathons, and many other activities.

I am in Liberty,and I work in gladstone.Blake is right,you should hook up with the KC Jeepclub.BTW Kansas City isnt that bad.Ive lived in four other cities and KC is nice for what I like.And Im sorry MR Illinois, your state has the worst drivers and is boooring!!The only part of IL that is worth a crap is around Chicago. As far as meeting,drop me a pm. I am putting a lift on my xj on sunday if ya want to come over.

i tried to become a user on KC jeep club, and i never got my verification from the "administrator" id like to joing, but i sure want to be a user first! KSXJ any help on the matter...i used the same name i use on here.
Still thinking about that axle...just gotta figure out some stuff before i end up with it in my garage scratching my head ha!
Downtown KC is great for me, have a brother that lives on the plaza! But thats the least of worries for now

I'm a newb here seeing as I've only had my XJ for about 24 hours. I think it would be a great thing for local wheelers to gather for BBQ and beer. If invited I would gladly bring something to share. I will say going from a lifted KJ with an auto to a lifted XJ with a stick is quite a reality check.

lenexa huh, I grew up at 87th and lackman. Still searching for a place up there so not sure where I will end up but nice meeting you. If you join kcjeepclub, we get to together every month for meetings and sometime weekly for dinner and such. But I agree us naxja members need to meet to. thats cool, I need to get a user name there . Where is lenexa are you? I prob would recognize it, but do you have any pics of obth rigs? Thats all I am running in lift, and run 33's. I am going to tuttle I think the 23-25 with the kcjeeclub, but you can tag along if you want. I havn't made reservations yet, but I will prob stay at motel 6 fri and sat night and wheel sat and sun.

I’m a member of the KCJeepClub I have had nothing but fun running around with the club a good bunch of people there always willing to help you out and they have there act together as far as meeting and events go. There is a meeting on the first Sunday of every mouth and new people are always welcome to come and sit in and see what’s going on if you like you can sing up and if you don’t then you don’t know big deal. The meetings are at the American Bandstand at 435 and Metcalf.

As far as the bad drivers down here god forbid that some body doesn’t wont to do a 100mph in the shity weather and end up in the ditch

Look me up sometime. It will be awhile before I get to wheel the XJ. It has overheating issues, and lack of skid issues, needs an sye and no tow points. As money trickles in I'll get to go. The KJ is done seeing off-road untill the fiance gets a new car in a couple years. The XJ is a stick and it could be interesting trying to teach her how to drive it.:scared: I'm hoping by mi summer I'll get to go wheeling.
