I'm just saying that a Miata isn't exactly a car with broad consumer base, and with the modifications it has its consumer base has been further narrowed. On top of that, a quick craigslist scan shows that a clean miata in a similar year range goes for between 2500 and 3500$. Its hard to get nearly double for a car, even with the mods it has.

I'd be looking at getting roughly 6000$ for my 2000 Audi S4, so how is a Miata thats 9yrs older worth only 1000$ less?

I know, and sometimes it's mind boggling what will go for serious money and what you can get for pennies.

I think you'd be better off selling it come spring time, but I know that's not what you want at all.

As soon as I decide I am gunna keep it and schedule dyno time, I get 3 emails for people wanting to buy it.

Guy gave me a deposit today to hold it and is picking it up tomorrow night. Sad night!

Bought it for 1000 in the sprint and sold it for 4000 in winter. Coulda got more but I'm happy with how I did

Nice margin of profit there David! Can't complain about that.....

I'm sure mom and dad are offering all kinds of practical uses for the funds which are nowhere on your horizon....... right? :D
