Sounds good. Bridgeport does offer camping sometimes, just not all the time, but yeah I believe there is a nearby camp grounds.

campground is about 5 miles away. just ran it in Feb

Yes, because of what they bring and their experience (lack of). Yes May 7th sorry. We each reserved a site in "A" they are camping in tent and me in my Camper so we don't need all 3 but we will take them Would love to see you make it John... and anyone else hint, hint
