OFFICIAL BS THREAD(all others will be deleted)

Well we finished our Lemons race. Clearly I build better race cars than jeeps. We finished 28 out of 80 overall and 4 out of 10 in class c (the real hoopties). Nothing broke bad enough to take us off the track. We did wear out our idler arm bushing which was never replaced. And wore a set of brake shoes down to the medal, I'm guessing it wasnt releasing properly. Over 700 "race" miles on a bone stock amc i6 after sitting for 30 year. It was a fun adventure. Looking forward to Dallas in April. (And ROM of course)

Well I finally used my Certificate I won at ROM this year. Ordered some LED LIGHTS for my off-road trailer used it to defray the cost :)

I want to express THANKS for the certificate from SMASH HOLE but also what fast and great service. My next LEDs will come from them too!!!!

Awesome Roger.

Who is doing what for Thanksgiving? I'm flying to Spokane, Washington to be with family. :)

I'll be killing animals to eat. As any red blooded American should.

So from the disband thread, we have some Okies it seems who are actually talking and wanting to do things. I have been wanting to do the K-Trail for a while ...

K-trail would be cool!

Fun part about my trip so far is that they don't have power where we are all staying. I think today is the 5th day they haven't had power.

A quick google just got me some trip reports on the K-Trail. Is there a definitive source of information on it? Are there any major water crossings?

From what I have read, the main thing you need to be careful of is "banjo music." I read one report where rebar was set in puddles to act as a spike strip and when the people set up camp someone started a fire on the trail on both sides of them, essentially trapping them on the trail. I plan to be more "equipped" for the K-trail than a normal trip (read long gun vs pistol).

It seems like reviews you read on products online. A lot of people do the trail with no problems, but you only hear about the bad experiences.
