Looking at weekends for ROM 2016. It seems we wanna keep it later in the month for better weather so that leaves the 19th or the 26th and the 26th is Easter weekend which isn't a problem for me but would probably be for others. What does everyone else think?

I would rather have it not on Easter weekend. Also not in the hell hole red dirt mud pit of Gilmer.

Getting old really sucks. Fighting seveer, suden eyesight problems, and have stopped driving for now. Eye doc says I just have sudden sever Cataract in one eye but my Rx for glasses is chaning in hours on some days I got new glasses, but they work one minute and not the next) and when that happens I can not read. Other times it comes back. Crazy...No doubt it is sise effect of the RA-drugs they have me on

I bought a huge external monitor and mount 2 days ago so I can use it to read and post and work on my laptop (my lively hood depends on it). Wish me luck folks!!!

Meanwhile my 84 Diesel XJ needs some TLC
Plan was to solve the excessively hard foot clutch so I can drive it again. It is way too stiff, and we got far enough in there to discover a miss alignment of the foot peddle arm assy and the clutch Master cylinder arm. I had previously repaired the foot peddle assy (cracked weld) and later the firewall the MC mounts to with reinforcing plates. That repair may have miss alligned the assy, or there is a very old jeep factory defect.

Just returned from the Scouting trip with some Overlander friends this weekend. We had a good time and good trip Here are some teaser pics of what we can expect in October on the organized run in Hill Country!
