October '07 Hollister Run

This year, the Official Sierra Chapter Fall Run to Hollister will be in October.

The Sierra Chapter usually has a November run to Hollister, but then the Rockin' XJ Jamboree started and people seem to be taking the Hollister weekend to work on their rigs. So, change the Hollister run so people have more of a chance to make both.

How does Saturday, October 13 work for everybody?

Bring your family, come play around in the park, and camp overnight since it won't be as cold as November.

There has even been talk of publicizing this in a publication.

Although, I guess slo is an fairly short drive to Hollister.

The 13th is a Sat if anybody was wondering, which means us Cal Poly people will probably be able to make it, especially if its just to Hollister.
Thats not that far, I mean come on. I drive to Fresno and back for the Sierra Chapter meet n' greets! (when I can).

Don't think this is going to be the only chance to wheel with the Sierra Chapter, because it's not. We just wanted to make sure nobody had a major commitment that weekend, and to let people know to pencil it in on their calendar if neccesary. And no, we won't delay the run until you get back from the UK. :confused1

Like phil said, we are having many runs this year. But the BOD is putting together a full list of events for all the chapters, that way we can do some publishing in the magazines. Help expose the chapters and .

We will end up having 4 official events for the SC this year.
1. January Snow Fun Run (done)
2. April Frank Raines (Bryan C. is this the 4th or 5th year?)
3. SierraFest 07' Dusy-Ershim
4. October Hollister Family Trip
