Oct 8th, Evans Creek

Very good Mike. I totally agree. But you missed a few

10. Lockers, Mike don't need no stinking lockers.
11. XJs drive on the road better if they have been wheeled all day.
12. I still LOVE my Truxus m/t with 20k miles on them. They make up for what I lack in driving skill:)
13. You don't need the right line when you have enough beer, or do you?
14. Darwin missed his chance again.

So?????

When/Where's the next trip?????

Sunday????

Day after Thanksgiving?????
I have put in for that day off, don't know if I will get it.

Well...

Fun trip! Left rear flare came off, corner piece on the bumper fell off, there's a dent there that I didn't notice yesterday and my rear bumper is tweaked on the left side (easily fixed).

Got home REALLY late after running Pat home to Arlington. Parked it for the night and now it barely runs... Not too sure what's going on with that. Acting like I only have 4 of the 6 firing...All the plugs and wires look good...

Back to driving the Mustang until I get this figured out. I hate driving the Mustang in the rain :(

Seriously, a GREAT trip thanks everyone!! Davis (in the Rubicon) really appreciated the hospitality and would like to join us again.

I'll post what pics we could take as soon as I can.

Mark,
I can pick or drop off Pat next trip if you would like. I live in Kayak Point (just west of Arlington).

No problem at all.

I might take you up on that... he's right near Smokey Point. Would save me that extra 2 hours of drive! (Four actually, if you think about it...)

Thanks!

Not an issue. That is maybe 5 minutes of my normal way home.
We can make it work next time!!

Just got to figure out the nest trip and when:)

Sunday, I will be there.

I also found out today, that I do get the day after Thanksgiving off. I am not into crowds and sales. So? Where are we going?

Thinkin' Reiter on either the 20th or the 27th...but I need some input from someone who has been there very recently. Just want to know what's open and what's not.

I agree, it has been a while since I was there. I was hoping to get some feedback from some other friends who had friends who had been there but that never happened.

Last I heard the Wall was closed, TA and TAII have been closed for a long time now. I think Isabelle was still open (have not done that trail for several years). But it is local for me and should make another trip out there, I still seem to have fun there even when most of the "good" stuff is closed.

Question:

How far away are these trails from Lacey, WA?

My brother is stationed at Fort Lewis, and I'll be heading up there quite often to see my nephew, and would like to hit some trails.

Evans Creek is about 1.5hrs from there, IIRC...and Reiter is about 3 hrs or so.

I'll gitcha hooked up, Ferg. :D

Yep, Let us know when you want to do it and I am sure we can get a few trucks together and maybe even pick you up on the way out.

Evans Creek would be the best Local place to Lacy. but Naches would not be bad either depending on the time of year. Winter time at either can be very difficult.

Just try to give us a little warning on dates.

I think he'd like Elbe. :D

Phil, I'll ask around up here and see if I can get a sitrep on Reiter. Maybe one of the PNWJeep guys has been there recently. If I can get someone to help me (begging obviously hasn't worked with all my so-called friends) swap out my bumper, I'll be there.
