Like has been said before. All of these trails are doable with your set up, there will be a few spots we will have to be VERY careful so that there is as limited chance for damage as possible. We as a group are very good at protecting the most concerned jeeps.

However, I DO NOT want you to think that you can make it through with no damage easily. There IS ALWAYS a chance of damage on any trail with any jeep.

We would love to have you along and there is always the choice of leaving it at the bottom or taking two groups on different trails.

Locked, Cocked, and ready to do some damage!

My foot (the other carnage from last Evans trip) is 99.91% healthy, the jeep's got a bunch of new cooling parts, and I've got a spiffy new hatch that almost fits. I've also got the pics my Dad snapped last time we were out there...there're a couple great shot off all of us on the bridge. I'll give one to someone to post online (that's beyond my meager techno-skills).

When we're out there, I can regale you all with my hair-raising adventures at Reiter's.

Michael, we might need to run up to Buckley ahead of all of you. Can Pat and I maybe have one of you shout on Channel 4 for us as you blow through town?

I don't remember the Route, otherwise we would just hook up at the place that we got our passes....
 
I talked to pops, and we are a GO for Saturday. Still meeting up at the Enumclaw Safeway?

Isn't that a bit far out there for folks to meet up? You'd be backtracking a bit to get to the trail. ;) Why not the Bonney Lake Safeway? :D

I'm definitely in for Saturday. Just out of curiosity, which way do YOU guys go to Evans? You don't exactly go all the way into Buckley. I go up 410, through bonney lake, Right on Mundy Loss Road, and then hang a left towards Burnett/Wilkeson, etc. So, the plan is to meet at Bonney Lake Safeway, then head up? Or are we meeting at the staging area/parking lot at Evans?

You are correct, that is the best way to go. However, I am not sure that anyone else in this group other than myself is aware of this short cut or taken it. Last time we met at the Bonney Lake Safeway then drove the "slightly longer" out 410 and then south to Wilkenson.

Due to all of the convey's that we have going and to preseve as much off road time as possible I would really prefer to meet at the staging area of Evan's Creek (lower parking lot). Make sure you all get your passes on the way up.

Having said that, anyone not know how to get there and still need some direction? Or anyone else want to join my convoy from the North end. Hans, Scott, and myself will be coming down from North i-5.

Suck it up Matt. I have to LEAVE my house at 5:30am. I don't think that the coffee shop is open that early. :rattle: I must really like wheeling with you guys to put myself through this kinda torture. :)

I got my lift transfered to my new(er) rig over the weekend so I'm in. If one of you guys from the north end wouldn't mind pm'ing me I'd like to convoy down with you.
And Hans, when you get up is about when i'll be getting off work, thats torture! LOL
