Great condition 1943 Dodge M43 Ambulance. I bought it to turn into a dirtbike/camping truck, but don't have the time or space living in an apartment.

Original motor and transmission, 24Volt electrical, 4x4 twin stick transfer case. Runs and drives just great. Lots of life left on ProComp 315 mud tires. I just drove it from Los Angeles to Santa Barbara with zero issues. Has front cab heater (non-functioning). Has power steering. Has hookups for a stereo in glovebox. Has a fun orange strobe on roof, the spotlight works great. Has interior lighting for front cab and rear box. There is a U-shaped seating area built in the rear with speakers.

The last owner used it as a promo vehicle. The owner before that had it as a restoration project and I have the historical vehicle license plates (license plate#: 940A in CA) to prove it. This is an awesome tailgate truck or camping RV. Drive it around as-is or restore it. Looking for $6,900 or best offer. Open to trades.

You can store it at my place. Haha.

I don't know about chassis, but it's an all original Dodge M43 - same truck as the M37 pickup, but a box on the back. Not a diesel, inline 6 cyl gasser.

I'm ordering the exhaust manifold this week :repair:and getting quotes to paint it back to OD green (quick paint - not big $$$ paint since it's a camping truck and will get scratched). :patriot:

Be a man, keep it! It's a friggen war truck, you can park it anywhere.

Cool, now get rid of those chrome mirrors and you have a war wagon. ;):D
