Hey everyone, I visit these forums alot but I don't post much. I work with ILLXJ and Hayles. I have a 88 Wagoneer Limited bone stock. I've just know have it running good and when the $$ Is available I will start to modify it. Any cheap Ideas for a young married man who is low on cash??
Thanks in advance.

young married man who is low on cash??

sounds like me. LOL my advice is:

1)start begging (sometimes it works)

2)just keep talking about how much you want this or that. eventually the wife will get sick of hearing it and just tell you to put it on the credit card. LOL (just don't get to much. you do have to pay it off)

She has never liked the Idea of me spending alot of money on "car stuff" So making the Jeep nice will be a uphill battle lol.

divorce!

To keep the wife off my back I buy old jeeps and part them out, mostly grand wagoneers. you can ussually find them not running for around 200. I bought one once for 62.5 on ebay and ended up making about 2k off it. steering wheel went for $75on ebay it is truly amazing what people will pay for parts.

Do your own wrenching...

fab your own parts...

or source them out to smaller outfits...

forget name brands...

scour and search the boards...

Lots of cheap mods to be had and done!

Yes it do! But you really have to worry about the 2nd shift guys. JIM.
