New Year

Hello my family.. A lot of you knew and loved my doggy Coalman. Sad to say he got out of the garage when I was working on the MJ last night. He was struck by a car and died on impact. Mariah and I hope you guys can say a prayer for us... And be grateful for those around you. This incident really is putting how precious life is and into perspective for us and it's really tough being a long ways from home.

I'm really sorry to hear that Pat. Being so far from home with tragedy makes things really hard. You guys will be in our prayers and our thoughts. Hang in there buddy

I'm so sorry to hear that Pat. Our pups are part of our families and it was easy to see that Cole had a loving family with all the adventure a dog could hope for. My thoughts and prayers go out to you and Mariah.

Thanks fellas.. Hard to put to words the feeling it gives you. We're torn up but making due.. Could really use a good Ca trail to take my mind of things. I really appreciate you all, coal loved all the friends.

So i told my kids about cole. They are big fans of his and still talk about him. So i get done explaining what happened and my oldest allise looks at steph with this sad look on her face and says, "does oscar know?" (Oscar is our chocolate lab)

Just thought id pass that along.

I know how much we love our dog and our previous boxer who died from cancer. So I know how hard that can be and I feel for you guys. Coal was a really cool dog.

"Does oscar know" dang thats so sweet. Sorry about your lost! Met coal at SF 2015 and was such a great Dog. He really impressed me him wandering to our camp and didnt beg even with food in our hands. GREAT Dog.

Thanks friends! He was an incredible dog and he loved camping and swimming.. He's been more places than most dogs in their entire lives. He was lucky and so were we. Glad you all got to enjoy him like we did!
