New rig.

Re: Re: New rig.

A lotta tube guys run dual 9s

True but it costs a lot of money and time. He could easily build a 60/14b for less

Hey Chris dude share some would ya??

LOL I like the dual 9 idea if run 2wd for a while. It's what you're known for!

Either way it sounds like it comes down to how and when you want to spend your money..

Tube chassis changes things a bit hahah
Mo have some time to think about this. I'm going to get my rear installed then retouch the subject.

I think if your going tube chassis, 9" is a waste of time
seperate rigs. Seperate needs.

again, 9s are for my Jeep. Chassis would be by chance that I'm getting and would just sit until my XJ is caged and both axles done.

Update.
Moved my Jeep to my house yesterday. Started reorganizing the garage so I can pull the Jeep inside. Brought a large tub home from work. Going to do electrolysis on an old bumper I built on my FIRST Cherokee. That's right. My very first Cherokee. It was never completed and has sat in a barn in the dirt for 7 years. My plan is to turn it into a stubby winch bumper. It's not perfect, but this creation needs to be used. Will most likely run it until it becomes cage time and I'll figure out something different.

Also, made some upper mounts for my bump stops. Basically a flat plate that is mounted to the factory bump tower. My Prothanes will hit on this surface.

Sounds like the jeep is getting treated nicely! What are your plans for a front 9"? Do you have any sort of build sheet/list of components of what you're thinking of building? Front 9's add up quick but they're pretty sweet axles.

well if you want to reduce weight , the 9s are a good idea for go fast. otherwise, if thats not the number 1 priority, the rear 14b can be built up very cheap, and you can probably find a built ford hp60 on pirate or CL for under 3500$.

When do we get to see pics of this new currie housing?

Plans for the front will be ruff stuff housing, 5x5.5 outers with rcvs. That's the base plan. That is far ahead though. Still want a cage. That Craigslist purchase would be nice if those axles haven't been narrowed too much. If they have only the internals are good for me.

Hahahahaha that's hilarious.
