Here is a pic of my old Jeep " Betty" and my dogs. Diesel is the camo mutt, blue is the Austrailian Shepard. RIP Blue.

I drive with both of my nutts...not just one. Doing so has gotten me into situations like this. The tree crushed my roof a bit, but saved me from going over.

Gee, seems like every time you go wheeling you end up with only 3 wheels on the ground atleast once.

Soo, I've been wondering why my front end was so low. So I ran the numbers off my coils. They arnt XJ 5.5's they are tj 5.5s. So Im at around 4inchs of lift. I'm gonna need to order new springs to get me at my desired height. Any one got some new RE1345's?

So I'm at that point of the build to where I'm Planning my steering and track bar relocation, frame stiffners, etc. I have a ballistic fab truss kit that I'll be putting on the d30. Plus a new upper CA mount and a track bar bracket to go with it. As far as steering, I'm thinking about 1ton TRE's from Ruffstuff. Not sure I wanna go heims with this rig. It wont be driven often, but it will go on long road trips etc.

Any advice on steering and/or where to get my frame stiffners? I believe I read on Tims thread that He has 3/16 stiffies. I'll have to do some searching, I dont remember who made those for him.

Don't believe the hype about heims on the road. They drive great.

I believe Tims stiffeners are TnT Customs'. I have the same ones and they are 3/16ths.

my green heep has hd offroad 11 ga. stiffeners. they fit perfect.
my red p.o.s. has ruffstuff 3/16 stiffeners. they fit like shit. m-u-c-h harder to install.
mucho plasma cutting, jacking, & cursing, but they are stronger.

i wish brian at hd would use 3/16 on his. the 11 ga is kinda wimpy but they are a breeze to install.
