Got the RE 3.5" Super Ride installed this weekend...and I think it turned out very good.

Next on the list is to install the SYE next weekend (got some wicked vibes right now), and fix the shock bushings that exploded/cracked when I put the shocks on.

Looks great , very clean. I wish my rig looked that clean.

Thanks! It actually hasn't been cleaned in several weeks....but I try to take pretty good care of it.

Very nice! It looks good with 31" tires.

What SYE are you going to use for the 242 case? Tom Woods or RE?

RE....I already have it, and the front driveshaft to use for it as well....just didn't have a saw that could cut the shaft this weekend, so i'm going to get a friend of mine to help me this coming weekend to finish it up.

It does look nice, welcome to the family.

Thanks! I've been watching your progress on your Jeep and I really like it.

Also have to say in the little bit that i've drove it with this lift on, it rides a hell of a lot better than the 3" lift I had.

Yes Chris...once the SYE is on and I can get some time away from both jobs.

Lookin at doin a little test run over by the power lines next week if all goes as planned.

How does it feel not to have blocks?

Wonderful.....no more axle wrap, and to have some springs that aren't parallel to the ground is amazing.

Only took 2700 posts for a real lift?!

Haha. I'm surprised your leaves didn't explode in all that time.

You and me both....and believe me, when I took them off they were damn near flat.

What brand of shocks did you use with the Re 3.5" kit?

Skyjacker Nitro's. Good ridin shock IMO...but the bushing's aren't worth crap. Already gotta replace both of them on the left front shock (the first one exploded the minute I started to tighten it, and the bottom one broke in half on the test drive). Maybe I just got a couple of bad bushings....but compared to other poly bushings i've worked with, these felt a bit more on the cheap side.

Nice looking XJ. I've always liked that color. You'll find your 3.5" lift and 31" BFGs is extremely capable off road. I took on the Rubicon Trail last weekend and earned a ton of respect for my XJ with the same lift and tires.

Get some rock rails and skids if you go off road. I beat the hell out of mine.
