I've got an OEM front skid that is going on this weekend as well....and i'll be grabbing a tcase skid next time I see one at the junkyard. I don't really hit that many rocks at all, but I definitely need the front skid to act as a mud guard and help keep some of it out of the engine.
Eventually i'll build some bumpers and rock rails....already had some offers for help on those.
